    in the very beginning of the street you will see a little bakery where they bake "gevreci". ..oh, they are so yummy-hot, taken right out of the oven. On the right hand side of the bakery there is a small "boza-djiinica". Here you can eat your gevrek with a fresh made "boza". 1 gevrek costs 0.30lv (1$=1.6lv)

    it's hard to describe- it's dry and salty made out of dough..heheh.......great for breakfast with boza and ayryan boza = thick fermented drink made ot different kind of flour, but the best is from millet; boza is drank in other Balkan countries- it came from Turky.ayryan= also comes from Turkey = yogurt and water

    there is no way for me to come to the old town and not visit this pottery and buy things. There are lots of other craftsmen here in the old part making all kinds of traditional stuff (traditional costumes and souvenirs and musical instruments)
