Kamen Bryag Things to Do

  • swimming with the dolphins

    my best memories involve the dolphins here...they'd go south very early in the morning and then come back in the late afternoon. i love watching them play and how the big dolphins take care of the baby dolphins. But the best ever is when dolphins decide to come play around you...unbelievable.

    there aren't many option in Kamen Bryag..i've never ever needed more than hanging by the fire or in one of the two pubs. There's always laughing people and guitars by the fire. In the pubs used to be very laid back.Back in the time when KB was not that fancy, the owners would play our music and it was like a big private party..now is more restaurant like.

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Kamen Bryag means 'Rocky beach/coast"
    One has to be extremely careful. There were several death accidents with people falling off the cliffs. It makes me sad to see a new gravestone every time i go.

    Be really,really carefull! This place takes your breath away but it also takes its tolls of human life.

Kamen Bryag What to Pack

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Luggage and bags: backpacks are good!

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: you have to have good shoes; i usually wear soldier boots or hikning shoes; the grass burns from the sun and is hard, and then ...it's a Rocky/Stony beach- it's tough to climb up and down in flip-flops; it's an open field, so is very,very windy- you can sunburn easily just by hanging out up on the rocks.
    it's getting chilly at night ...so be sure to bring warm clothes- wind proof jacket is a good idea;

    Toiletries and Medical Supplies: going to kamen briag is like going to wilderness...the nearest hospital and stores are in the nearby city Kavarna.

    Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring stable tents- the smaller the better-because of the wind. Once we had a tent blown away. And waterproof good tents- once i remember it rained for days and most of the tents were carried away!
