The theater has one of the most beautiful buildings not only in Varna but in Bulgaria. Its building started in 1921 and it was designed by the same architect who did the Opera in Sofia.
Nearby is located the the Cathedral and the Marine Club. At plaza in front of the theater there are many cafes where u can chill out if u must. Do not be shocked by the naked gypsy kids dipping au naturel in the nearby fountain...that is their way to chill out in the hot summer days.
