    Sofia - Magurata Cave
From Sofia take the exit to Lom and Vidin - through: Petrohan, Berkovitsa, Montana. Then we cross E-79 and continued through Ostrokalci, Rabisha to Magurata Cave.

    Going to Belogradchik

Leaving Belogradchik: from the bus station in Belogradchik, there are four daily busses to Vidin. And there are five daily busses to sofia (four hours, 5,50 lv) This bus goes via Montana and Vrasta. However: there is no late bus to sofia. So it is not possible to arrive at Belogradchik in the evening (which you will probably always do when you come from Sofia, since it’s a four hours ride which takes your whole afternoon) and see the town the next day and leave then. If you pay a short visit, you arrive at the evening and take the first bus in the morning two days later. Going from Sofia to Belogradchik: from the Sever (North) station near the Princess hotel at bulevard Maria Luisa, there are busses for Belogradchik: these cost 5, 50 lv and take 4 hours. (with a stop half way the trip, since in general Bulgarian busses have no toilets on board) The bus leaves somewhere in the afternoon. By train: take the train to Vidin (daily 3 fast trains and one slow train) that takes 5 to 7 hours and cost 7 lv for the fast train. Trains leave from the central station, which is located at the eand of the bulvard where the Princess hotel (and sever busstation) is also situated.

    going to Belogradchik

Lying just off the main E79 between Montana and Vidin, Belogradchik is easily reached by bus from the latter. The town's bus station lies immediately below the main street. Trains on the Sofia-Vidin line stop at Oreshets station 10km to the east, from where there are regular buses. The phone number of the towns bus station is +359 936/34 27.
