Bjelovar Travel Guide

 honorary_hrvatica Says:  Unfortunately, after living here and traveling Croatia for a year, I figured out that this may be the most boring city in all of Croatia. If you can avoid spending too much time here, do - there are a million better, gorgeous, more interesting places to go, even close-by,... 

 Bjelovar Says:  It is not usual sightseeing, but you can go visit one interesting building. Nice colors, many flowers on it, very interesting. It is fire station, and I think that it is the most beautiful fire station in Croatia. If you go to look it, just ask for "Vatrogasni centar".

 Bjelovar Says:  This is one of the oldest building in town (it is about 250 years old). Many years purpose of this building was military purpose. But few years ago it was given to town, which was complete renovated it. Now there is a city hall, colleges, and on ground floor is small shops,...

 Bjelovar Says:  When you leave Bjelovar, you cannot miss transportation. Because, bus station is beside tran station. So if you miss bus, you can always go with train :) 

 Bjelovar Says:  The most hurriest days in Bjelovar are on Thursdays and Saturdays. Then is market days. Everybody goings to marketplace to buy some fruits, vegetables, milk products, and other food products, but also you can find and try clothes and other interesting stuff. 

 Bjelovar Says:  Beside plan of destroying center by builds ugly buildings, there was also plan to build four skyscrapers around town center. On south side of town center this plan become true. Only one skyscraper in Bjelovar is build on other side of beautiful old baroque style gymnasium...
