Favorite thing: Radiceva street is non traffic area and the main promenade of the city. This is where the Governor's Gate stood, the main entrance into the town in the medieval times. Most of the buildings here, on both sides of the street, are built in the Baroque style.

Favorite thing: Strossmayerov trg, which is situated right next to the J. Jelacic trg, is the administrative center of the town. The Town Hall building, in Baroque style, dominates the whole square which is situated centraly inside the six-pointed star ground plan of the old city core.

Favorite thing: The Franciscan Monastery and the Most Holy Trinity Church with its bell tower, dominates the central part of the old core of the town. The church was built on the site of an previous sacral building and was reconstructed several times during the centuries.

Favorite thing: The central position of the main square occupies an very particular and lovely well, beautifully decorated with the sculptures on its top. In the medieval times, local people used to collect the water here, also it was the main meeting point in the town.

Favorite thing: Josip Jelacic Square is the heart of the old city core, it is the best spot from where you can start exploring the old part of the town which is built in the shape of the star. Since the medieval times, Karlovac has very important strategic point and huge military center.
Fondest memory: Beautiful four rivers with crystal clear water.
