If you see this sign attached to the regular tram stop sign at Mihaljevac that says “Zicara ne vozi zbog jakog vjetra” then don’t count on the Cable car. The sign says “Cable car is out of service because of the strong wind”.
In cases like this there’s usually a special bus line going from Mihaljevac terminal, stopping at Dolje and going all the way till the Tomislavov dom hotel, close to the Upper station of the Cable car. Look for the bus displaying the “Tomislavov Dom” as its destination.

Various accidents may happen in the mountain, so it's wise to know few phone numbers and put them into the memory of your mobile phone before you go.
In case of an accident call Mountain Rescue Service (Gorska Sluzba Spasavanja) at phone numbers (01) 4824 142 (fixed network number) or (091) 5082 556 (mobile phone number).
You can also call Police at no.92, or the Ambulance at no.94.
