Favorite thing: Sorry if I am not writing the names of this resorts which could be seen on the pictures, I prefer give a chance to potential visitors to explore it by themselves. Rastoke is relativelly small place and could be explored in a short period of time. Side to side it takes like 30 minutes of time to see the whole of this area. Imagine yourself in exploring the town of Venice in Italy, chanels and water surface all around. The same is in Rastoke, only here you will find all the houses made of wood and surrounded by greenery. Another difference is in tranquility and totoally idyllic ambiance.

Favorite thing: Rastoke is off the beatten place on the road to Plitvice Lakes and many tourists just passing by, even not noticing it. Those who see the waterfalls, from the car-window, might stop just to admire it from the road-stop or for taking a few pics. Those who are curious by nature and adventurous will stop and explore it. Most of those who stop at Rastoke wont withstand not to spend entire day here or even overnight. Many fall in love at the first sigh and stay here. Rastoke is breathtaking place and thats for sure.

Favorite thing: As far as I am concerned, Rastoke is the most beautiful agrotourism resort in whole of Croatia. Trust me, I've seen most of them. The nature itself created magnificent spot which looks alike to terry tell. The local craft and imagination added beautiful wooden houses which perfectly mathes to the enviroment. If you're nature lover don't miss Rastoke when visiting Croatia. If you prefer idyllic hinterland rather than seaside, this is right place for you.

Favorite thing: You wont find destination of Rastoke on your VT map because it is a part of Slunj, small town which is situated just about 15km before NP Plitvice, when coming from direction of Zagreb. It is a perfect place to stop over but also, it is very attractive destination to nature lovers.
