The town of Varazdin is located in the northern part of Croatia, it stands in open area with no mountains and hills around to protect it. Therefore it might be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Okay, take a good look at this pic. This is one that Zdenka took without telling me. And NO, I am NOT doing what you think i am doing on the meterological clock, it only LOOKS like I am doing what you are thinking I am doing, so STOP thinking that I am doing what you are thinking because I am NOT DOING THAT....
So my warning here is do not let Zdenka take your picture without her telling you first, it may be hard to live down later.....^L^

It is also called "the Baroque City". Maybe it's an "off the beaten path" destination, but I think that it deserves a visit, some very interesting buildings in the city.

Varazdin is a small baroque town in Croatia (central Europe). It has about 50000 citizen. People usually call it "Small Vienna". It is problably the most beautiful continental town in Croatia.
