Being a peninsula, the long and narrow hill of Peljesac allows wide views in its western coast, dotted with several islands, and it seems a lagoon is its eastern side, with many fisheries.
No matter where, the result is always spectacular, specially at sunset

Maybe with the help of the light effects in sunset, maybe because it is really wonderful, the Peljesac coast provided us the most spectacular views of Dalmatian Coast.
We passed there three times, and the sensation was always great.

The main activity for people coming to Orebic is windsurfing as the winds between Korcula island and Peljecas can get pretty strong. Usually the best wind can be caught in the late afternoon and those who know how to eat it make a real show then. Other times of the day the wind is usually strong enough to learn how make a use of it. And once you start it's a great fun.

It's good to start learning windsurfing with somebody who can show you and teach you some. It will certainly go much better if you at least know what to do and then it's all about practice, practice, practice.

The beach in Orebic Perna is not the nicest. It's either cement blocks or small stones. No sand and rocky beaches here.

Once you are good at it, Orebic is a great place for windsurfing and there is a view of Korcula not to beat.

There is a windsurfing school in Orebic - Perna and few places renting out whole equipment. I payed 300 kn for the rent of the board and the sail for 5 hrs, which I could use any time.
