There is a palm tree lined promenade along the sea front. Here the ferry to the nearby island leaves and the local fishing boats and vessels bring in their booty. One man just arrived with his funny looking fish (picture no. 2).
Ploce harbour is easily explored in an hour or two. There are plenty of cafes along the harbour too. The town was still very small in the 1940s and development started later which you can see by the big appartment blocks in the background.
All in all Ploce made the impression of a peaceful pleasant little town.
Favorite thing: Crniševo (Crnishevo), Oèuša (Ochusha), Sladinac, Plitko Jezero, Vrvnik and Podgora are the names of the six lakes that occupy one hundred and thitry-eight hectares of paradise on earth. The average depth of the l is about twenty meters, but the thousands of colours mirrored in them are a secret that Nature will certainly never reveal to us.
Favorite thing: I think Ploce was a progressing town, a town with a future, it had alot of beauty, but it didnt like to flaunt it..That was a shame. It has some amgnifficant scenery.
