Getting Around Dalmatia - Dubrovnik Region

Dear friends,
i can tell you only one thing about Dubovnik and Croatia.... don`t hire a car with KOMPAS company.
We had their car for one week, pay almost double than in any other company in Dubrovnik, and at the end for one small damage what we did not make we paid almost 1.500€.
Also, the car was not checked when we take a car from them, they say that it is all OK and after that whan we finished we wait two hours for them to come and pick up the car, and call them on phone at least 10 times, they did not answer. They did not show, we have to catch our flight and leave the keys at some other company, i think SIXT.
After we have lended in Moscow, and turn on our mobile we receive bank notification that our credit card has been charged.
We call them again and they answer this time and told us that on the car was two minnor damages on the front bumper and they have right to charge that how much they like because i sign their conditions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damages on the car was 1cm long and 0.5cm wide. Only small small small small damage.
That damages was on the car when we pick up the car, we told them that but they said it is ok on the pick up and later they charge us.
I have spoken with few more peoples from Russia, they told me that they have same situation with that company, and one of them had that same car Opal Astra DU412 registration.
Car was extremly dirty whan we pick the same, no fuel inside, and smell very bad. We have to wash that car because we can not drive it like that.
This was our worst car rental ever!!!!!!!!
Don` t make same mistake like we do, don` t rent a car with KOMPAS rent it anywhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!
