We found that this may be the only restaurant along the Riva that actually serves food. We stopped at 4 other places, and they were only cafe/bars, and no food, or just snacks. This is the west end of the city for information. This is a drop off point for tour buses, so they may have an "arrangement" for the meals to serve. We were there when a group from Thailand was there.
The food was excellent. The service was not so good, and the waitress was more focused on the tour group than us, and it was slow coming. I found out later that the salads were hand made and the chicken cooked on the spot; so it took longer
Favorite Dish: WE had some of the best cream of mushroom soup in a long time. The salads we got were huge and too much for one meal, maybe closer to 2-3 meals to share. Tuna and chicken salads were $8 each. The soup was $5. Beer was $5 for a large and a wine $6 a glass. We did take a lot of food home

I'm calling this restaurant "loggia" because I have forgotten its name - but it's easy to find: next to the cathedral, under the italian style loggia. A bit posh, maybe, but truly delicious
Favorite Dish: fantastic scampi - i cant remember how many...but many! i really could not finish them (although i tried). Slightly expensive but worth it

Barun is located on the way to the Solaris hotel complex just south if Sibenik. You turn right from the Magistrala onto an access road that leads to the hotels. Just as you get off he main road, you'll see it. Barun. Very pleasant setting upstairs, beautiful views in the glass-enclosed dining-room.
Favorite Dish: We were a party of four and had a wonderful seafood spagetti dish. Bread was first class. We also tried their seafood risotto which was equally spectacular. The waiter recommended we try their home wine and it was great. Really a memorable experience.

On a wide , forresty area, there are six picturesque stonebuilt houses. A part of the rustical houses is decorated in a recognisable authentic style, for lodging purposes. Very close, there is a traditional Dalmatian tavern, offering traditional Dalmatian meals, made form ecologicaly grown food, and of course good wines, that completes the flavors and scents of the menu.
In the yard, there is a picturesque creek and a gazeebo.
From ancient times of Dalmatian cuisine there are tales about the Prsut from Drnis, as the finest in Croatia and abroad. Even on the British court it is served as a delicatese for centuries. These are not rumors, we have proven it by winning many awards with our homemade Prsut. With Prsut, we serve cheeese, either the stronger sheep or mild cow , and of course the recognisable “peka” bread , made long ago by our ancistors.
Many of our visitors ask themselves why our food is so tasty, And the answer is very simple, its because of the fresh and natural ingrediants and the oldfashion cuisine
Favorite Dish: That Peka with lam meat and potatoes is extraodinary, and you get homemade bred, if you are lucky you get it warm :) It is really extraordinary. I can' t forget a smoked ham, the best ham that I have ever tried in whole my life, really gastronomical paradise. This family is producing their own very good wine, grappa ect. If you ever visit this place you have to try all of it.

We were in a package, eating what was supplied, without chosing the place nor knowing its price.
Here, we had a regular chicken and enjoyed the decoration of the restaurant. I think that served "a la carte" things would be much better. As usual!

Direct access from the boat, in a secluded bay, grill, smell of Mediterannean, clean water, no noise.
This little bay provides shelter from Bura wind and is a great place to swim. What you see in the background is a little restaurant that serves only fresh fish and veg. Next to it is a little place with a pool table ( no car access, im bedazzled).
Favorite Dish: Prosciutto and cheese with olives and house wine.

After visiting Krka and St. Jacob - I needed lunch. The most convenient place was Gradska Vjecnica, next to St. Jacob. Located in an Italinate / Ventian style building - get a table outside underneath the portico. The music is hip and cool - the food solid and presented in a contemporary fashion - the house wine and digestifs are top notch. The octopus salad was a mixture of delicate octopus and vegetables - the peppers in cheese was mostly cheese (think fondue). The Markarska liquor was excellent. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon after a busy day of sight-seeing.

We found this laid back café off the main drag in the old town of Sibenik. The place has two floors inside but of course we sat outside in the shade.
I opted for a ham/cheese toast for 10 Kuna and an Ice Tea for 15 Kuna. Service was friendly.
They have toilets on the upper floor.

The Valeria is a café which has cakes and ice cream. We sat outside and enjoyed a cold drink and watched people go by.
I had an ice chocolate like I know them from Germany. I was very pleased to find this item on the menu and even more pleased when it was possible to change the chocolate ice cream in the cold chocolate drink for vanilla ice cream. They sure knew how to make me happy!
They had a toilet on the premises.

Very nice glassed terrace in the centre of Sibenik, overlooking a little church.
Its a coffee place, cocktail bar and a grill house.
The offer of cocktails is very good and its not so expensive!
truely cute place and international.
Favorite Dish: Tuna pate. Served on a dish in a shape of a fish, with warm bread and garnishing on the side (four kinds of salad).
Great taste.
