When you walk from the harbour to the Dominican monastery you will see an old wind mill. Today, it is a restaurant by the name of Konoba Mlin. We were not staying in Bol long enough to give it a try.
Also just before the Dominican monastery you will see one of the 19th century Vodotok. It's a channel for rain water. Nearby, there is also a funny tree.
Above the harbour you find the cute old church Sv. Ante. It’s open for visitors, so make sure you have a look inside. Next to the church there is a small park with benches and a good view over the harbour and the Riva.
Another small old church is just before you reach the Golden Beach. There you can only look through the window but you will not see so much, but your camera will see more ;)
Favorite thing: Bol is famous for its beautiful beaches, full of white pebbles, and the beach Zlatni rat is considered the most beautiful beach in the whole of Adriatic. It cuts into the sea towards the south with its half-kilometre long body, and it quivers restlessly with its white tongue, obeying the winds and submitting to the waves that move it to and fro.
