In the trees by the Golden Beach you will find remains of the Roman cistern. The cistern belonged to a complex of farm buildings and was vaulted in barrel shape standing on two arches.
Unfortunately, the place looks a bit worn as no doubt every summer thousands of tourists are walking to and fro right beside it.
House in house (kuca u kuci)
Now this is something very special. One day some wealthy merchant wanted to build a big house in the town right in the spot where there was already a smaller house. Because the inhabitants of the small didn’t want to give up their house, the merchant decided to build his hug house on top of it. This all happened in the 19th century. The huge house was never finished because one day the merchant sailed away on business and never returned.
Currently, you cannot go inside and it’s actually not so easy to photograph the whole thing. Please note that it's not so easy to find this place despite the signs but it's located in the center of town but you will have to follow a few tiny streets.
Plitvice Lakes National Park
The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen beautiful blue-green lakes, linked by a series of waterfalls, and divided into the Upper Lakes and the Lower Lakes. The largest waterfall is the 70m high Veliki Slap.
The pristine world of waterfalls, lakes and trees covers a total area of 300 square kilometres, whilst the lakes join together over a distance of eight kilometres and set in deep woodland.
It claims to host deer, wolves, wildcats, lynx, wild boar, voles, otters and birds from eagles to herons to owls. Plitvice is also home to about 50 highly endangered European brown bears.
Silent, pollution-free electric boats shuttle hikers across the park's biggest lake.
Entrance fee 100 kn, good for entire stay, including park entry, boat, shuttle bus, and parking.
Address: Plitvice National Park
Directions: Located roughly halfway between capital city Zagreb and Zadar on the coast. It's possible to get there by public bus (two hours from Zagreb, departing several times each day), but is easier by car on A1 to Rakovica.

Murvica, Brac island
Some 5 km from Bol there is a small village Murvica. At the crossroad above Bol you must take the tennis center & Zlatni rat direction. Above Zlatni rat there is another crossroad on the right with macadam road heading to Murvica. The road is OK with some spectacular wievs. At Murvica you can park by the road near the "konoba"(restaurant) SV.Marija. Bellow you will spot paths which lead to a beautifull pebble beach, right under the local cemetery. You can also choose to visit an ancient monestery above village ( in ruins ) or take a hike to famous "Dragon cave"(Zmajeva spilja). Be sure your map is correct, otherwise I recommend a local guide.

The 2 others beaches in Bol
Except the famous beach of bol in form of triangle, you have other beautiful and nice beaches.
I strongly recommend the 2 beaches near the monastery and especially the one on the pic. It's smaller, in a beautiful bay in front of the monastery, closer to the center and the watter is cleaner. But the entrance is not so easy to find, good luck !!! ;-)
The black pine
The black pine (Pinus nigra), on the roof of St. Peter's Church in Nerežišce on the island of Brac is an outstanding natural phenomenon, thought to be about 100 years old. The trunk has grown between the stone slabs on the roof of the church so under these unfavorable conditions it has remained stunted and small, and as such indeed presents a natural bonsai.
Mount Vidova Gora
Mount Vidova gora on the island of Brac is the highest peak of the island and all the Adriatic islands. It is covered by Dalmatian black pine (Pinus nigra). Mount Vidova gora has preserved its autochthonous appearance and untouched nature, and around it the local inhabitants still engage in cattle-breeding in an old-fashioned way. That contributes to nature preservation and gives a special charm to the idyllic atmosphere of this timeless oasis of peace and bird's song. From the top of Mount Vidova gora there is a magnificent view of the well-known tourist resort of Bol and its famous beach Zlatni rat.
