One of the most popular features of new urban parks along the Jadro river are the bird colonies that are very popular among the kids. Parents are brought here by their kids every weekend from the wide area of Split connurbation.
Local stores usually have huge piles of bags of "smoki" corn flips that is popular among the birds and you should bring it unless you want all the birds fly to some other guy on the other side of the river who just emptied two bags and is taking the best photos of swans and ducks.
