The “House of Culture” Zvonimir has one stage hall where you can watch (more or less regular) movies and occasional concerts, plays and other events. The exhibition centre on the first floor often has exhibitions of local artists, while the library on the ground floor has a large collection of books about Solin in its Salonitana Collection.
Dom Kulture is the central point of Solin’s cultural scene, and during the summer nights there is a popular caffe with a terrace close to the Jadro river - which can be very refreshing place to sit during the hot summer nights.
Dress Code: Unless it's the opening of an important exhibition, no special dress code.
Over the church from the 6th Century and within the 16th Century fortress in Gradina there?s a large open-air theatre that?s the main stage in Solin during the summer nights. It?s a great place to catch re-runs of all movies that played during the winter season.
Occasionally, in irregular but rather frequent intervals plays and concerts are staged here. Don?t miss the opportunity to hear the Solin Choir (Solinski pucki pivaci) if you notice the announcement of their concert in this unique environment.
Gradina is also the main stage of the annual International Festival of Ethno music that takes place in the beginning of August.
Dress Code: No special dress code, just a warning: no matter how hot it may be during the day it can get cold late in the evening with the refreshing breeze from Jadro river. And don?t forger that closeness of the river sometimes means lots of mosquitos ? bring some repellent!
