    Trogir Things to Do

When you approach by sea, this fortress built by the Venetians in the 15th century stands as a lighthouse, announcing the town laying besides it. When you arrive, it "sits" discreetly in the back, composing the beautiful look of the Riva. Very nice from all the angles!

Jadrolinija operates the ferry service between Split and Brac. The ferry port is at Supetar, on the island's north coast, almost directly opposite Split. Split- Supetar isn't the only crossing from the mainland to Brac. A small ferry operates between Markaska, south of Split, and Sumartin on the island's eastern tip. Postire Favorites

Postira is located in an idyllic spot. The church seems to be the landmark. Since we passed through on the public bus we had no chance to explore this place but I most certainly would have loved to do so.Several Croatian personalities were born here, e.g. the poet and politician V. Nazor and the sculptor N. Lazanic.

    Postire Transportation

We passed through Postira by bus from Bol to Supetar. The bus stopped outside the town center and right in front of a tourist office. The bus fare from Postira to Supetar seemed to be quite expensive in relation to the fare of the whole Bol-Supetar journey.
