The restaurant is in an unusual position. It is through a door in an alley which opens out into a courtyard. The setting is nice and is respite from the heat in the hot weather.
Favorite Dish: Excellent Mediterranean food. I had a lovely pasta dish which was gorgeous! Has olives as a starter which always go down well.

There is no mistake in ordering any of the choices from restaurant's menu. If you eat on terrazza, ambience is just great. Garden is located on one of the Trogir's typical squares. Waiters are very nice and knowledgable, don't hesitate to ask for recomandations.
Favorite Dish: Anything you order and you won't miss. If you're looking for something typical from Trogir, "Pasticada and gnocchi" is one of the best choices. Potatoe dumplings with marinated beef in dark sauce,

Retaurants and pizzeria Capo is situated in the heart of the old core of the town, in one of those narrow and short streets which you ave to passed by when strolling around. It is in foot and short distance from all the major sights of the city and you just cannot miss it. The ambient of the restaurant, which is situated in an old stone-house, is in particularly interesting and attractive, just take a look at my pictures.
The garden part of the restaurant is situated in an ruined roofless house, with the open grill which spread delicious aroma of traditional Dalmatian cuisine all around. The furniture is old and simple and each chair is of different kind and style. Just oposite to the open grill there is a small boat, turned into the table, representing the unique and very attractive place for dinner.
Out on the street, facing the restaurant, there are in particularly interesting hand-made tables and chairs, see the pictures bellow
Favorite Dish: I am a seafood lover, in the first place, searching always when possible this kind of the restaurants. There are thousands of seafood restaurants along the Adriatic coast, but not all them are good. My way of testing the quality of one restaurant is based on Adriatic squids. I know perfectly well what the Adriatic squid look like and, trust me, it is the best of a kind in whole the world. The Adriatic squid have intense red colour, while all other kinds are, more or less, white or gray coloured. This, on the bellow picture, are the genuine Adriatic sguids, which cost more than the other kinds, but it worth all the money you paid for it. My dinner, with grilled squids and glass of hite wine cost me 82,00 kunas, which is not expensive.

The service was excellent and the food fantastic. The waitress was extremely helpful, spoke English and was friendly. The location was good as it was on the harbour front.
Favorite Dish: The sea bass and dalmatian potatoes were lovely. The mixed grill was good too.

I notice the restaurant because of the furniture: made by wood, with natural shapes.
But the differential thing of this restaurant is a small Schnauzer fat dog who fools arrownd like a master of the place. He is Capo too!
Favorite Dish: Now, about the food: I choose "ćevapi", a local traditional food, witch was a good decision, good food and a very large portion. Vlad (my boyfriend) choose a mixed fish dish, witch wasn't such a good idea.

Set along the riva , next to St. Dominic - good place to have a meal or an afternoon / late evening drink
Favorite Dish: I remember the black risotto had chunks of potato and octopus in it - and when the risotto had cooled a light sprinkling of cheese enhanced the deep flavor.

Tucked on a small passege way. I remember having salted sardines, mussels and dorado - all very good. The mussels were especially plump. Service was assured without being cloying. Capo is the name of the owner's small charming dog - but don't try to pick him up.

The restaurant is situated on the island of Ciovo. It is an typical Dalmatian restaurant where you can get a lot of fresh fish and natural vegetables.
Favorite Dish: Dalmatian cuisine looks very much like Italian, as a metter of fact it is very similiar to the cuisine from Neaples.
I suggest you grilled fresh fish from the Adriatic with vegetables

We had an excellent juha riblja (fish soup), dalmatinski prsut (Dalmatian ham), muckalica (photo), lignje na zaru (grilled squids), pomfrit (fried potatoes)
Muckalica is a flavored beef stew usually served with rice. Though it is a traditional dish in Croatia, I have not found it often in restaurants on the Dalmatian coast.

A great location along the Riva. The food was very good. We ordered a seafood platter for 3. Our favorite was the wolffish. The scampi was also quite good. I liked the chewy local mussels. Eli had Vienese style veal (breaded and fried?) and liked it alot. We drank and enjoyed a local white wine.
