Despite being accessible by car, the boat traffic in the port is very intense. This forces the boats to line waiting for their turn to dock. The commercial lines have priority, so when you think it's your turn, a ferry approaches and everyone stops waiting for the exit and entrance of hundreds of backpackers.
This meant to us a long wait in the port, and a irremediable delay in Split. When planning your visit, if in high season, you better be aware of that.

They need to clean up the trash containers and empty them more often. There was nearly everyone full to the brim and overflowing. It was a distasteful site for what they present as such a nice island resort.

I collect photos of "Warning, School" road signs in every country. Of course, that is especially interesting when these signs are of different styles. I have seen the first one several times in Croatia and it represent well children bursting out of school !
The second is more special and I have picked it on a school bus that was parked at the bus station close to the bridge leading to the entrance into the old city of Trogir.
