"Operetta" is probably the most beautiful department store in whole Croatia. It is situated in the heart of the town, right next to the hotel Bristol in Marshala Tita street.
What to buy: Here you can find a number of very good trade-marks, designed by the world leading fashion houses.
What to pay: No burgains here in the high season.

I really admired this shopping centre . Beautiful building in two floors with sculptures, ornaments and splendid painted ceiling.
Unfortunatelly a lot of shops were still empty (especially on the second floor) . The ones that were opened sell expensive clothes of known brands(Nike, Puma, Lacoste ...)

Women sell their hand work along the Promenade. I bought a gorgeous knitted summer sweater for my Mother from this woman. As a stickler for detail, I was blown away by the perfection of her stitches! (So is my Mother!!)
What to buy: Of course you can also purchase smaller items, such as doilies or larger ones like gorgeous table cloths!
What to pay: Oops, can't remember, but I was on a budget so I know I really got my money's worth!!
