Like I said, prices may be high in the Summer months. Find a cafe such as this, and ask for a drink menu. The slivovice is likely to be cheap, drink lots of it, and enjoy! I wish I could be more specific, but I'm not sure it's possible.

we been to this place about 4 times in a month. Its a huge place with indoors and outdoors bars, and woman dancing on small stages. Its a bit cheezy actually but I had a great time there anyway.
Most people coming there are foreigners, and you can tell by the prices as well. there are still comperative with danish though. The music is hitlist and the big summerclassics.
Dress Code: well being a club located in a hotel/ camping area, there is no real dresscose. Anything goes really. I was wearing my guideuniform on a couple of occasions, though I must say i felt a bit silly.

porec is lively with many bars. there are plenty in the 2 resorts of zelena laguna and plava laguna although we didnt think they were that great. the international club in supposed to be good though. in town, try 'old timer' bar, and the 2 bars near the casino. the best bar however is Colonia. its set in the woods by the seafront. it attracts a young trendy, gorgeous crowd. it doesnt start to get going until after midnight and goes on til 4am. a very good night out!

Lapidarij is one of the coolest pubs in Porec. It is know mostly for the JAZZ performances that take place here during the summer. If you are lucky, you will get a hold of the summer Jazz calender in which all the performances are outlined. A cool night outside of the musem of Porec.

Night life in Porec used to be great during the season. It is still good even though I was kind of disappointed when I went in 2001, because it seems that night life during past 10 years became more accustomed to older tourists than younger. During crazy eightees I had lots of fun wherever I went. This time only few clubs were as they used to be. Most of them close at midnight, especially the ones in downtown.
The best night clubs are still located outside the town. Club 'International' in Zelena Laguna (tourist area 3 km from Porec) was fun(and expensive - 10DM cover) as always.
I still managed to discover a very nice beach club open until very late "Colonia". It is located on the beach called 'naftaplin' and it the most popular place for night fun in Porec right now.
I love live rock or funky jazz bands, and the atmosphere that goes with it. This place has it all, famous bands come to play here from all of Croatia.
Dress Code: Dress code very summery casual, it is in the open and of course there is no dress code as long as you are covered at least a little bit.

This was porbably my favourite place to go out. Mainly because most people I know hang around here...but otherwise
-it os the one place in the summer that is packed and there is no entrance fee.
-it is outside and right on the water
- it has great music through the week
- the crowd is mixed..locals, Italians, Germans, Dutch, English, Czech...and I've even met people from Australia and Israel hangig out here
- it is one of the least expensive places
- is is lots of fun
Ah, yes. You'll have to go to the bathroom somewhere in the forest most likely...

I just got home after spending a month in Porec. Being a guide there was a great experience but Im afraid some of my hints will reflect the fact i was a guide and not a normal visitor.
