I must say, there is not so many nightlfe in Rovnj, which suits me:) I have nothing against that.
Since I was in preseason Monvi wasn't yet opened but ...fter a long break the Monvi Entertainment Centre is reopening. Many generations of tourists from the 80s and the 90s remember MONVI as a certified entertainment factory for all ages.
here what their propaganda says: ( I don't know if it will be like that...he he try and tell me:) I'd love that to know:)
The new MONVI centre will be a multimedia complex that will offer a wide range of services. From disco club, open-air theatre, disco-bar, Mexican restaurant, cocktail bar, pizzeria, wine bar, fast food, sweet bar, Internet cafe, video play shop and'a modern art gallery.
Havana Club: Clubing
There are many places inside the old core of the town where you can spend a very pleasant evenings. "Havana Club" is situated on the seashore, right opposite to the city marine. It offers great atmosphere, good music and cold drinks. Who could ask for more in the hot summer nights.
Dress Code: No dress code, anything according to your preferences.

Cafe Bar Batel: Favourite bar
This was our favourite place to go after dinner for a few beers/drinks and to relax and chat. There are nice comfy sofas to sink into - a tv screen too if you're into footie, sound was down though and some great latino music playing. Good expresso here and try Medenica/Medovaca to go with it (grappa, sweetish honey flavour) mmmm! Friendly staff and good beer. Tables outside too if its warm enough. They also do snacks and cocktails.
Monvi: Best nightlife in Istra
The new MONVI centre is a multimedia complex that offers a wide range of services. From disco club, open-air theatre, disco-bar, Mexican restaurant, cocktail bar, pizzeria, wine bar, fast food, sweet bar, Internet cafe, video play shop and'a modern art gallery.
Not to be missed if you're in the area :)
It's a wonderful and romantic bar, you can find it in to the old town in the sea way to go to St Eufemia church.
It's particular because you can drink seat on the rocks of the beach.
It's a very nice and romantic place: DON'T MISS IT!!!!
The old core of the town: Hanging around
The old core of the town is network of short and narrow streets, very typical for most of the coastal towns in the Mediterranean area. Such a structure is protecting against the freezing winter season wind called "bura" but also, against the summer heat which ocasionally could reach over 40 C degrees.
In the summer evenings it could be perfect place for hanging around and enjoying in refreshing wind, coming from the sea, which circulating inside the old core. Almost each of the short streets offering terraces in front of the restaurants, cafe-bars or wine-cellars. Just follow the crowd while hanging around or pick your place for spending enjoyable evening, even if alone, because very soon friendly people around will accept you as an old friend alike.
the old core of Rovinj: sipping wine and watching people passing by
I am sure and I know that Rovinj has rich nightlife in clubs and discoteques, offering parties almost every night, but I'll leave it to youngsters to let you know about it. People of my age have different interests for a nightlife tips.
There are many small restaurants and caffe-bars inside the old core, even in those very narrow streets. If you don't mind people to watch what you eating or drinking it could be interesting and amusing spending evening or night in such an restaurant out on the street and almost "sharing" table with those who are passing by.
Enjoying fresh seafood and sipping local wines aint bad idea for a nightlife tip. Istria is offering hight quality wines, both red and white wines.
Dress Code: Just be yourself and dress comfortable cloths, nobody here cares for a dress code.
Bar Batel: Mix with the locals
From the first moment that we arrived at Bar Batel we were given the royal treatment. The staff is amazingly welcoming and helpful with tips for what to do in the area. Be sure to introduce yourself to the quiet, reserved, and yet extremely friendly owner Ranko. His head bartender, Mike, loves Valentino Rossi and would certainly treat you well should you strike up a conversation about the esteemed motorcycle driver. There is a nice mixture of locals and tourists that stop by Bar Batel so the conversation is always interesting, but Mike 46's friends were exceptionally outgoing. Tell our new friend Mike 46 that we sent you and we can guarantee that he will treat you to a night that you won't soon forget!
Dress Code: Beach casual, unpretentious
