You'll notice many new buildings.
They are, probably, working to make of Baska a touristic center at European way, and so they are building many new attractions for tourists.
At least, this is the idea I made in my mind, walking along promenade.

Velebit was a famous hotel in last century. Then it declined.
Nowadays, people are working to adjust it, and it will probably become a new and modern hotel.
By the way, into Velebit there's a nice restaurant.

There are also many decaying buildings all around, because of not so far difficult days. But they are restructuring them to have new hotels and so on.
