by frankyboy5 Baska beaches, great and small A special feeling that remains in your memory for the rest of your days. Baska abounds in beaches, some thirty pebbled beaches accessible to swimmers of all ages, while some of them have to be reached on foot or by boat. Still, the biggest and one of the most beautiful is Baska's Vela Plaza, the Great Beach, right in the centre of town, surrounded by bars, restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, hotels, private flats and other things all of which are an integral part of the place's attractions. The Great Beach is a natural pebble beach, 1800 m long, which can take several thousand swimmers with ease. It's particularly suitable for children and non-swimmers. Since 1999, the European Blue Flag has waved on Baska's Great Beach, today a trademark of Baska, as proof of the high quality and standards of the beach. Leave a Comment Directions: Baska bay
