This place was rated several times into Top 100 restaurants in Croatia. Can't argue with that. Never left the place unsatisfied. They try hard, their motto being ''Always fresh fish''. The rastaurant is right next to the sea and if you seat on the terrace you have a nice view on Kvarner bay.

The Restaurant is on of the best restaurants of croatia. It is a restaurant for gourmets with decorated by GAULT MILLAU. Tradition and Creativity you can found in the cuisine of the hotel. Within a short period of time the restaurant has develoed into a gourmet temple for the speciality cuisine of the Kvarner area.
The head cook Boris was on international ships and in many restaurants and hotels in Germany, Italy and Croatia. His speciality is the French Cuisine and the Cuisine Nouvelle.
Boris is a very nice person and you feel very welcome.
The food is full of genius. You can eat all of what Boris recomments.

Favorite Dish: My favorite dish was lamb and asparagus, prepared in different ways.
We eat here quite often and so far we were never disappointed. The place has a long tradition already. They tend to have freash ingredientes, but when this is not possible they will warn you. Stuff is friendy and prices are reasonably. Most dishes up to 50 kunas, only some specialties are more expensive.

This cousy restaurant is on top of a hill near the beach of Medveja. The place can be found in the middle of nature, with a beautiful garden around and lots of birds making noise. Inside is a farm-style restaurant with a lot of wood and a very friendly cook. The family lives upstairs and we could hear the kids play and the family having fun. We were served at the moment that the retaurant was officially closed, but the cook was pleased to cook a meal for us.
Favorite Dish: We eat fresh fish, wild asperges and salad. But that was in spring. Simply ask the cook what is the speciality of the season, because they use wild vegetables and herbs picked from nature.
This pizzeria is not in the city center, but a citizen of the town advised me to go here. And it was a good decision because they have marvelous pizza. And pizza is the thing you should eat in this part of Croatia, as everybody does. It's possible to sit outside in the beautiful garden - together with some other foreign tourists - or to eat inside - as most Croatians do.
BTW: Pizzeria Oaza on the Marsala Tita 37 is advised by the Rough Guide, but they serve pizza-slices that look and taste like the ones that you buy at Pizza Hut elsewhere in Europe.
