Favorite thing: When trees fall into water, they must not be touched. With the time, carbonate acumulation will turn it into a new rocky formation that will produce new slopes and cascades.
Sometimes those trees look really spooky stemming from underwater, they remind me of skelethons of drowned pirates or something...
And of course, the inevitable trouts...

Favorite thing: Wherever you turn there is green! The most different kinds of plants and vegetation, with hundreds of endemic species. Sometimes the scenery looks like Japan on postcards (as i've never been to Japan to tell how is it for real!) :))) But there are no famous Japanese bridges. ;) Yet, those wooden ones are pretty impressive, too!
You can find all kinds of colours in Plitvice...

    the woods

Favorite thing: There are places with thick woods, so dark that even on a sunny day it's hard to see, and we had to use a flash! There are some areas with pra-forest formations, and vegetation like those in Amazonia!
