The area around the Upper Lakes is pretty steep, so the paths are. Do not rush here and take you time because otherwise you'll lost your breath. However, most of the visitors are breathless here watching the miracolous beauty created by the nature itself.

The natural barriere in between Kaludjerovac and Novakovica brod lakes is covered by the wooden path. There are no artificial materials in the park at all, everything you see around is provided and built by the natural resources only.
The pictures showing walking path from above, I took them from the upper trail near by Bear Cave spot, except for the last one which showing the same path from the ground level.

Sometimes you'll find yourself in front of the crowd coming from the opposite direction. It is better let them pass through because the wooden paths are pretty narrow, otherwise, you can drop in the water which might be cold. Most of visitors are very kind and friendly but you never know.

This is Golubnjaca Cave, so called, Bear Cave which is situated nearby Gavanovac Lake. You can climb up and explore it because there are no bears here anymore, although this species still live in the area of the National Park.

Most of the visitors enjoy to be alone and to explore this park on their own. You cannot avoid the crowd in front of the most attractive waterfalls, but since the park covers a very huge area, it offers enjoying in the solitudine to everyone. Never be affraid of getting lost inside the park, it just can't happene.

Sometimes you might be doubtful, which way to choose? Ther is no problem at all, all paths lead you in the right direction and you cannot be lost.
However, the paths around the Proscansko Lake, which is situated on the top of the Upper Lakes, are unmarked. Just keep yourself in the vicinity of the lake and you cannot be lost.

The area around the Lake of Kaludjerovac is, more or less, always crowded with the visitors, especially in the summer season. On the right side of the picture there is area of Sastavci where the most attractive Big Waterfalls are situated.

There are marked paths all around the lakes and you can walk through the park from the Lower Lakes to the Upper Lakes, and vice versa. I suggest you to stay here a cuople of days exploring whole this stunning beauty just walking.
This is the path around the Lake of Milanovac.
