    Rab - eastern tip

At the eastern tip of Rab you can see how strong the power of Bura wind is in this area - blowing in gushes from those high mountains overlooking the sea, it brings salty mist that prevents plants from growing along Rab’s northern side.
On the picture you can see a few plants growing on the left side, in slightly sheltered areas, but further to the right, foliage disappears, and behind the tip there is a rocky desert - amazing clean wind swept shoreline.
Not very popular among sailors. But great for a hiking adventure - only if the weather is fine. No plants = no shade = long sleeves, hat, plenty of water and high UV protection.

Trekking up the Kamenjak hill ( 1h40min from the town) to the small steak house with the great terracce and magnificant view on the town. Good spot any time; daytime perfect panorama, nighttime, the breeze nicely cools you down.

For mnore adventureous types; there is a path along the whole hill, so its worth walking it all the way, only take care of the sun and take plenty of water ( no water along the way).

    Tarmac road...
    by coceng
Okay, here I am going to post the photos that I took around Suha Punta, tipped as one of the biggest naturist spots/beaches in Croatia.

Certainly it was mentioned that Suha Punta was the first of its kind anywhere in the world !

The photo shows the area as I walked towards the place. I could take a bus on this tarmac road but I chose to walk.

    Path/trail to Suha Punta...
    by coceng
As Suha Punta, the naturist beach is on a secluded area, I had to walk through this trail in a small forest. Bushy area.

Quite a long walk. Occasionally, cars passed me by but nobody stopped to give me a lift. I prefered it that way anyway.

Beautiful sceneries all around ! It's well-kept as the area was clean from rubbish, maybe condoms but that's another story !
Actually, most of the times I was just being careful not to capture any human being in my photos. Not to upset them in their naturist state of body & mind.
On the other hand, why not ? I mean they are proud of their lifestyle, so I want to share it with other people !
    Well, maybe not...

I laid my towel & listening to Moose on my walkman; watching people. Watching their activities.

When I took these photos, I was beng careful not to included any human beings in it. I didn't want to 'disturb' their style of living.

That's why you could see rocks in front of the photos ! Beyond the rocks, you could see naked people. Not much comment to make actually if you have seen naked people before.

If you haven't, well...please look at yourself naked in the mirror.

    A good advice this.

I was there for one whole day. Enjoying the sceneries. Swimming, with & without my swimming gear.

I made sure nobody was around when I dipped myself in the water. Somehow I felt that all eyes on me !

Anyway, had to leave when the sun started to go down. Walked back & I got lost ! Managed to take this photo around Suha Punta.

This photo & a few below were taken at Suha Punta. It's a vast area. There are people almost everywhere. Some were naked & some were not (fully) naked. I was not naked. Well, I wore my swimming trunk.

People playing volleyball, lying on the sun, reading, talking, swimming, singing with their kids...full of life !

Full of activities just like at a camping ground.

I walked around the area. It's a big area full of beautiful rocks & coves.

Why do the naturists always get the best part of the beaches ? Anybody can answer this ?

Then, I saw this sign. The FKK sign they called it.

Welcome, a fully clothes man greeted me at a table where I bought the ticket.
