96 coves, about 200 beaches, large and small,38 capes and 20 rocks-a very good indicator of how indented our coast is.The best way to experience it all is by rowing a kayak.So-row with SKA(seakayak adventures) through a magical adventure in which you will discover the original beauty of the flora and fauna of Rab's coast.Rab's coastal line is 103.2 km long, but when you add all the coastal lenghts of other smaller islands around Rab,it sums up to 116.17 km.
The teritory of Kalifront is particullary intresting thanks to diversity of its every beach, both in shape and structure;you got sandy beaches, rocky beaches, gravel beaches,or a mixture of it all, lining up one after another, right up to the cape of Kalifront.
We can also offer you the unique pleasure of diving into rich submarine world hidden in crack-holes,or in a group of caves called Medova buža(Bear hole),with its seethrough blue colour, treasures a variety of stalagmites and stalactites,as well as the protected species of bats.
The best way to learn more about the forces of nature is by rowing beneath the high narrow cliffs of Kamenjak(408) which has been shaped by strong northern winds(up to 200 km/h) for centuries. You can let yourself in the adventure by renting kayaks or by being lead by SKA guides who know every bit of the island, even though there's always something new to be found-even for them.

One of the best things to do while you're in Rab, is definitely the posibility of island hopping. You can find lots of boat-companies that provide day-trips to near islands- Cres, Krk, Lošinj and Pag. I chose a trip to island of Lošinj. It was great. The sea between islands of Rab and Lošinj is known as home of 300 dolphins, but, unfortunately I haven't seen any.
For the price between 20 and 30 euros you get transport, lunch on the boat which was extremely delitious (fresh grilled fish and cooked potatoes + salad) and we stopped bathing at a small desserted island and jumped from the boat. Anyway, it was a perfect experience and I deeply reccomend it.

Climbing up the towers is just enough difficult and scary for a well deserved reward - spectacular views. Keep your eyes open, step carefully, make way for people descending - well, I figured it's better to be polite than to be squashed, right? So while I was politely waiting, I made this picture for you to enjoy.

We are on Rab Island, Croatia. It is situated on the Dalmatia Coast, south-west of Croatia. A medieval island. Lots of medieval sightseeings plus amazing beaches around this island.
This scenery was caught by me also in the area. Near the church.
