One of the best things to do while you're in Rab, is definitely the posibility of island hopping. You can find lots of boat-companies that provide day-trips to near islands- Cres, Krk, Lošinj and Pag. I chose a trip to island of Lošinj. It was great. The sea between islands of Rab and Lošinj is known as home of 300 dolphins, but, unfortunately I...more

Climbing up the towers is just enough difficult and scary for a well deserved reward - spectacular views. Keep your eyes open, step carefully, make way for people descending - well, I figured it's better to be polite than to be squashed, right? So while I was politely waiting, I made this picture for you to enjoy.more

Few kilometers from the town of Rab, we visited this restaurant that I red about in one article. Well, they do serve superb food, fresh fish (fishermen family) or lobsters that you can choose from the aquarium. We got carried away ordering entrees (crab salad is fantastic, also small shells in sauce) so when we got our main course, we couldn't...more
Superb food & atmosphereEvery time we visit Rab, it's a ritual for us to have a pizza in this place. They have a wood burning oven in which they bake pizza in just a few minutes! Also they serve other dishes - fish and meat that are prepared on the other side of the same restaurant - just across one tiny narrow street. And the place is just so...more

At the eastern tip of Rab you can see how strong the power of Bura wind is in this area - blowing in gushes from those high mountains overlooking the sea, it brings salty mist that prevents plants from growing along Rab’s northern side. On the picture you can see a few plants growing on the left side, in slightly sheltered areas, but further to the...more
Beautiful sceneries all around ! It's well-kept as the area was clean from rubbish, maybe condoms but that's another story !Actually, most of the times I was just being careful not to capture any human being in my photos. Not to upset them in their naturist state of body & mind.On the other hand, why not ? I mean they are proud of their lifestyle,...more
