    Senj is located under mountain passage Vratnik which is 700 m above the sea level. Geographical configuration causes strong wind called Boora characterized by sudden strikes which reach speeds of more than 200 km/hr. Traffic of bulky vehicles is sometimes interrupted in winter. In summer wind can overthrow a cyclist. Most endangered groups are tourists on light rubber boats or swimmers on inflated mats. While in or around Senj be always aware of the weather forcast!

    These two pictures are for my collection of school warning road signs. They are the most modern Croatian school road signs but I like their elegant design. Even if now, road signs tend to look almost alike in every country, there remains always a few differences that I will soon show when I build a school road signs page.
