Favorite thing: This is the quiet harbor of Mali Losinj on the southern tip of Cres island. Access to the island is by ferry only, either from the mainland (to the west) or from Krk island (to the east)...
There are many small restaurants around the harbor serving the sea food coming in fresh every day. If you are "into" seafood, this might be a good place to try it out. You can keep an eye on the harbor action while eating on the pier.

Favorite thing: The harbor of Mali Losinj is very well protected and has a long entrance channel. You can see here the channel, but not yet the anchorage itself, it is at the far end and around the bend. You will find also many restaurants lining the harbor where you can sit and have a coffee or meal and watch the activities among the boaters.

Favorite thing: Island Mali Losinj is known upon lush vegetation. It is very green island, and of course there are lots of flowers, all kinds of them.

Favorite thing: For those who prefer swimming pools, this is it. Almost each hotel has its own swimming pool and you can enjoy there, swimming, sunbathing, chating, listening music...

Favorite thing: Very recommendable is taking such a motorboat to visit one of the numerous islands around in the neighbourhood. It is alway crowded with touris, but usualy very entertaining.

Mali Losinj (to the ends of Cres)
This is one of the streets of Mali Losinj, narrow and cobbled. This particular street was supposed to lead us to the harbor, but it took us instead to the rocky outcroppings south of town.

The island of Lošinj has a secular tradition of tourism. Small island of the Adriatic sea it's really the best place to have some rest and make a lot of activities. Sometimes you can read "Lussino"......
