Losinj Dolphin Reserve, Cres Island
Martin_S. Says: On the far southern tip of Cres island thre is a new dolphin reserve which give home to a resident population of around 120 bottlenose dolphins. This is the first reserve of its kind in the Mediterranean Sea. Included within the reserve is the small island of Veli Losinj.

I think , the only way to reach the island is by ferryboat. I'm not quite sure, maybe there are other ships. But i'm sure, it's the shortest way, if you travel from Slovenia
It plies very frequent during the season. I think - each hour.

Main Street, Mali Losijn style....here you WALK, there is no access to cars. You may see an occassional motor bike that has managed to get around the barriers,but they are few and far in between. We enjoyed the walk from the car park to the waterfront, but can you imagine doing ALL you daily chores, be it the bank or the grocery shopping all by foot and then you have to carry everything in your hands. I think that some of it is great for tourists, but if you live there I wonder if you would like it so much??

Mali Losinj (to the ends of Cres)
This is one of the streets of Mali Losinj, narrow and cobbled. This particular street was supposed to lead us to the harbor, but it took us instead to the rocky outcroppings south of town.
The island of Lošinj has a secular tradition of tourism. Small island of the Adriatic sea it's really the best place to have some rest and make a lot of activities. Sometimes you can read "Lussino"......
