In the major cities, such as:...

by croisbeauty

In the major cities, such as: Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, Osijek, Dubrovnik, Pula, almost every day in the week, in a smaller touristic places only during the summer season. There are plenty of good restaurants, some with live music, pizzeria's and in particolarly caffe bars where loco people usually spend evenings enjoying in drinks, chatting and gossip. In discoteques as crazy as possible (Dolce&Gabbana or simmiliar), in caffe bars and pizzerias just ordinary garments, in classy restaurants something to impress the lady next to you.

Te beach: cute pubs and fun clubs.

by JAVATO

To start the night you can go to the old town to take a drink, there are some bars and cafes in the promenade and in the cityhall place. All of them have tables outside. Near of the old church of Diocleciano, in the corner with south gate of the palace, there is a bar with a very good hardrock music. Later you have to go to the beach, you can go walking for the road wich goes to the cruises dock. Over the beach there are several pubs with a lot of people and a club called "equador" which is the best in Split. To go in this club, you have to go before one o'clock if you don't have an invitation. Later it's imposible.there are some others clubs in the new town near of the football stadium.People are so beautiful and fashion. Prices are very good, one beer costs about 2.50 €. Casual but smartly dressed.

All along the Coast!: Great Nightlife!

by TaraC100

I had a great time going out all over Croatia, I found Hvar Island the best, but I also really enjoyed Dubrovnik. Nightclub EastWest on the beach is good, however El Fuego has a much bigger crowd. Enjoyed Split, head out to bars along the beach, about 10min in a taxi. Anything goes!

Carpe diem & Co: Hvar nightlife

by coccinella169

Carpe diem is the most famous nightlife spot in Hvar town. During daytime it is a café and turns into a bar/club at night. It is said that the one or the other celebrity, like Gerard Depardieu has visited Carpe Diem, as well as russian millionairs :). I couldn`t spot any famous person when I was there though :). It is located directly at the yacht harbour. It is an old building, with arcades, very nice looking. People gather preferably under those arcades and in the courtyard at night. They play loud house music. A small beer costs about 4 EUR. They have a face control. Staff was friendly. If you want to have it a little calmer, close to Carpe Diem is the Riva yacht harbour hotel. They have an open air bar overlooking the yacht harbour. There are very comfortable sofas from where you can do some serious people watching. In the evening they have a piano player, while later at night you...

Dubrovnik in the evening: When the town gets quiet again

by sabsi

We loved Dubrovnik in the evenings for several reasons. First of all it's not that hot anymore. Then the cruise tourists are back on their boats and many day trippers left the old town again. Plus the city looks beautiful when lit up at night. Too bad I had forgotten to bring my tripod. If you have one, don't forget to take yours! Our favourite spot at night was the terrace of Restaurant Poklisar at the old port. In the evenings there is a piano player here who sounds like he has been working on a cruise ship for too long. My Way, New York, New York, Hey Jude and Moon River are only a few of the gems from his repertoire. It's very touristy and pure kitsch but I loved it! We came here every night for at least a drink... Take a jacket. It might get a little fresh in the evening...

Sea Organ Zadar: The most beautiful sunset

by sabsi

We haven't been out much at night. After being on the run all day we mostly enjoyed a nice dinner and/or staying at home, reading or writing postcards. Thus you find some "different" nightlife tips here. Number one is "The most beautiful sunset".We saw the most beautiful sunset from the sea organ in Zadar (See "Must See Activities" for more information about this amazing spot!). The steps are build into the riva in the right direction to see the sun set. We sat here for something like an hour seeing the sky turning more dramatic with every minute. I had heard that this is what you do in Zadar in the evening, still we were alone here most of the time. Wonderful!

CAFFE BAR RIO: DUBROVNIK's most happening bar in town

by bballers

Given the fact that in the old town of Dubrovnik there are several little bars, overly crowded with the same selection of drinks ( believe me I've been to them all). In my search for something different I had stumbled on Caffe Bar RIO,which was in a side street off the main strip of Stradun and walked in. To my surprise, a great assortment of cocktail drinks (not only your typical beer, wine, and soft drinks)! The music was great, the bartender spoke perfect English, had a great sence of humor and catered to his guests. People were singing and dancing inside and out , everyone seemed to have an awesome time. This became my night spot for the remainder of my stay. This bar gets a two thumbs up!

K & K: Out and About in Zagreb

by blint

It's warm, inviting, interesting and filled with photos. A great place to have a coffee in the afternoon or go out at night.I ordered a lovely fresh lemon juice and a cokolada (hot chocolate) which were both delicious. The hot chocolate was soooo thick and creamy; way better than the hot chocolate in Britain or Spain!Warning: You may want to spend a lot of time in this bar!!!We sat upstairs which I think is the most interesting part of the bar/café Anything goes

The Red Room: Get funky in Split

by blint

The red room is indeed a large red room with a funky cool atmosphere suitable for young people. Apart from the stools at the bars the other seats are sofas and puffs which makes for a comfortable night. The only downsides are that it is way more expensive than most bars (Kilkenny 40 kuna) and that it can be hard finding a seat due to popularity. Everyone was well dressed and trendy here (not tartishly though).

Knoba bar Cervantes: A Spanish theme bar in Dubrovnik

by blint

It looks like an old wine cellars with arched stone walls and roof. Apart from Don Quixote, a bull fighting poster and the Sangre de Toro wine not much else was particularly Spanish. Well, sometimes they played some good old cheesy Spanish pop too.It has a chilled atmosphere suitable for all, where the music isn't too loud so you are able to talk.
