Hot summer nights

by Gili_S

My visit was too short to experience much of the night life, but from the little I could see I can only say that sometimes I thought I am dreaming, but no, here in Croatia it was all real, bars, clubs, music & fun as much as you can only hope for.

Makarska coastal township: May to early September

by lizzyv

On the adriatic coast of Makarska its party, party, party......wall to wall in fact. On the beach, the prominades.....all systems go. Im sure its like this in Split and all coastal towns. Thats why the mainly Germans and Italians go there! Young people and young at heart go there and run free........ What the heck as the night lingers on, no one is bothered if you're topless on the beach. Nudity is not an issue, and there are plenty of beaches addressing this. Night clubs do expect clean and tidy attire (no bikinis in there)

by Dudytka

We didn´t go out much, because we were tired from the whole day´s diving and lying on the beach. :) As I´ve seen, there are not big discos... Even in Cres town, the capital of Cres, I´ve seen only pubs and restaurants. Cres is definitely not a place for party people. If you go out there, you will meet native people and talk with them about life and drink local delicious wine.

Various: Not just cafes

by acemj

While Croatia is more well-known for its cafe culture, you'll also find some great, smoky and old pubs and bars. A decent local beer to try is called Ozujsko, and believe it or not, I had some good Croatian wines too.

Old Town: Strolling in Dubrovnik

by acemj

Well, if you visit my Split page, you'll see that my nightlife was tumultuous at times in Croatia, but if you stay in areas where there are plenty of people (which won't be a problem from June through August) and you won't have a problem. In Dubrovnik, I spent a lot of time just exploring the streets and stopping at interesting looking pubs and bars.

(forgot the name! Sorry!): Best Jazz in Town

by chaYangshu

After the City Gate just walk all the way Stradun to the Palace of Sponza, then turn right and walk to the Cathedral, you'll see an outdoor bar to the right and when you hear the good music you'll know you're in the right spot! Have a nice evening!P.s. The building on the photo has still the remarks of the attacks against the City on its walls! ...just put something on...

El Fuego: Best in Dubrovnik

by mehbal

I think El Fuego is most popular and best nightclub in Dubrovnik. The entrance fee to El Fuego is 20 kuna. They give you one drink free.El Fuego has a nice dance floor. There were so many locals at Saturday.Night starts after 12 am till early mornings. Was very crowded at saturday night ,many people was waiting outside. The place was great that night .I dont think it will be active in off seasons.Although we went there on the weekend in the middle of july .It was almost empty on Sunday night. Casual wear.anything you like it

bourbon street: dubrovnik

by call_me_rhia

Bourbon Street is an important street in DUbrovnik - especially if you are into drinking and pub crawling. You can ask anyone for it, they all know it, but this street sign, you will never see it. Why? because it doesn't exist - by this name at least. Ok, the actual name is Sagrestana Street, i think... but ask someone for it, and you'll be getting blank stares! The bars in the area are lively and fun! A great place for partying! informal

Tkalciceva Ulica: zagreb

by call_me_rhia

Tkalciceva Ulica - is an area (or better a street) where everything seems to happen. It's a long pedestrian street covered with bars and pubs galore, and crowded by lots of young people having fun, drinking, eating... Basically it seemd like the place to go out... to see peopel and be seen - yet at the same time it did not seem like a posh place. I had a brilliant time there. informal, luckily.
