Djakovo region is one of the best wine-producing regions in continental Croatia, along Kutjevo and Ilok. In more than 400 hectares of wineyards in Mandinevac and Trnava grapes are grown from ancient times, but it wasn't untill bishop Strossmayer that the wine production was better organized.
What to buy: White wines: Grasevina, Rizling, Pinot bijeli, Rajnski rizling, Traminac, Sauvignon, Chardonnay.
