Old Bridge Pub is located in Tvrđa ("citadel"), the historical part of Osijek. It's the newest edition to Osijek's favourite spots as it opened its doors in 2006. It serves a wide range of drinks (lots of beers, just as the pub should), food and music. There are three floors; basement and first floor are packed on weekends, the third floor is more intimate. They have various music nights throughout the week. Osijek Spring Jazz Festival is held here in March.

The most popular spot to go out by night is Tvrđa. There are many bars and cafes, there used to be a disco before too. The light is very special in the evening there.
This picture is not from Tvrđa, but from the center of the twon, however, I hope to put an appropriate photo soon...

Take a stroll by the Drava river by night. The river is beautifully enlighted, including the boats that shine floating on the river, very lovely! Still, the most beautiful is the bridge, but if you go too late, the lights on it would be off....

Harbour of Osijek: lots of bars
At the bank of Drava lots of bars with terraces. Different designs. Terraces open in February. Mediterran atmosphere. Like at the seashore even if you are at a river.You can hear the waves.Beautiful panorama of the lighted bridge!

In the fortress.Special atmosphere.No lights but candles on tables.Little artfical stream inside the bar.Tiny bridge over it!Cane-covered boxes.Tha bar is like a cave.Wonderful coctails.Every Friday evening live jazz!On Wednesdays house-party.Other days Caribic and South-American music.Youth of Osijek usually go there on Saturday evenings before go to discos.This picture was made near the coctail bar.Those walls are lighted....romantic!

Cafe Bar Rudnik (Rudnik means mine)
Pub in the basement. Looks like a mine. Rails in the middle of the room with miner's truck (mobile) on it! Fortune fontain in a corner (throw a coin into it and wish something!). Put the miner's helmet on your head and turn the light on! Friendly waiter.
