The local cemetery is home to the quaint St. Nicolas Church and two early Christian sacrophagus.
Many of the grave markers and tombstones on the cemetery were created by the Croatian sculptor Ivan Rendic (1849-1932).

The Petrinovic Mausoleum was created by the Croatian artist Toma Rosandic in neobyzantine style. Its white domed roof is topped by an angel.
It was built for the family of the local shipowner Francisco Petrinovic, who emigrated to Chile and returned back even richer.

The history of the Church of the Annunciation (Crkva Uznesenja Marijina) dates back to the 18th century.
The parish church was built on the site of an early Christian basilica dedicated to St. Peter.
The only remnant of the basilica is an historic mosaic of the 6th century, which can be found just next to the church.

The Church of the Annunciation is the main attraction of Supetar. It is located a short walk south of the harbour area.
