When planning, take into account that most of the streets are very narrow, some of them are one way only, and - mostly around the harbour - are not accessible by car.
We came to Supetar by bus from Bol, which was our first destination on the island of Brac.
In summertime there are about 6 daily buses connecting Bol with Supetar. The trip takes about 70 Minutes and a single ticket costs 35 Kuna (about 5 Euro, 2008).
The bus station of Supetar is situated right in the heart of the town, just adjacent to the ferry port.
As Supetar is the main transportation hub of Brac, there are also a few bus connections to other towns on the island, such as Sumartin.
It is a ferry connecting Split and Supetar, Brac Island. It runs 4-5 times a day between the two cities. It is easy to embark and the passenger lobbies are comfortable equipped with a coffee bar. The summer and other seasons' time table are slightly different.
