Perfect to escape the bustle of bigger towns on the coast,but come either end of the high season.
The ice cream is gorgeous & so cheap. You are sure to gain a few pounds!
Sibenik has a beautiful cathedral, two nice squares, but what else? I choose Sibenik as a base for a daytrip to the Krka National Park (see travelogue). I don't know.

After seeing the beautiful coast, the rest of the country can only be disappointing. Don't bother with it.

In Dubrovnik, avoid visiting the Aquarium, which is not very interesting, even if the advertisements tell the contrary!Here is picture of a friendly octopus alone in its little tank.
The organised 'Boat Picnics' are expensive and the food is pretty rubbish. You spend most of your time on a boat and see very little.
