We were lucky to be driven to Samobor by VTer danijelita in her car. The drive to find the center of Samobor turned out to be quite adventurous. Also keep in mind when parking that all the parking space near the center cost something which you often have to pay by mobile phone.

This train was just across the street from my accommodation. However, do not queue for tickets, I don't think this old train can take you anywhere.

Two times a year there is "biciklijada" of Samobor. A thousands of bike lovers are riding from Zagreb to Samobor spending there day or two, enjoying Samobor's traditionaly hospitality, good food and fine local wines.
When in Samobor you shouldn't miss:
- "samoborske kremšnite" - famous Samoborian cake
- Bermet - local drink
- "rudarska greblica" - a kind of cheesecake prepared according to an old traditional local recipe.

Best way to get to Samobor is by bus. There is regular bus service from/to Zagreb all day long and the trip takes about 30 to 40 minutes.
