    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: A great resource for information about travels to Eastern or Central Europe is "In Your Pocket". It provides information of more than 50 cities at the travel portal

About 20 printed full city guides are available locally at various places including kiosks. The guides are most comprehensive and up to date. The Zagreb guide is even free of charge.

So don't forget to check out the In your Pocket website at:

Favorite thing: The official site of the Zagreb Tourist Board is an excellent starting point in finding all the relevant information and useful tips about Zagreb. The site is updated on a daily basis and brings a comprehensive list of hotels, restaurants, theatres, museums, galleries, pubs and clubs, together with facts and figures and the brief history of Zagreb, the weather forecast and up-to-date information about cultural and other events in Zagreb and the surrounding area. If you're not sure when is the best time to visit Zagreb, this site will undoubtedly be of great help.

Favorite thing: You have arrived in Zagreb and you don't know what to do because there aren't really many guide books available about the city? Then go to the tourist information at Jelacic Square and ask for a copy of "Zagreb in your Pocket". If you are lucky they have one and like this you get the best guide to sights, nightlife and restaurants for free. Sometimes they run out of copies though. To be on the safe side you can also read it online here:
