Yes, big yellow "M" is your faith, everywhere you go there is at least one in the cities you visit. This one is situated in the heart of Zagreb, just a foot from the main square.
Favorite Dish:
I don't like fast food because in my opinion it is tasteless. I have never enter in this restaurant although I pass by every single day.
In the past it was just a big tasty hamburger ...quite a real fast food...now it's a nicly decorated place...with modern design...tasty food and many different types of dishes...quite and clean...
Favorite Dish:
Cheesburger
There are many McDonald restaurants around Zagreb. There is one very near the main square in the centre (Jelacic Square) and there is one in Importane Centar near the main train station just to give couple of examples.
On your way from the central square to the cathedral, turn right before an old city wall and within a 100m or so you'll find seom small shops selling hot sandwiches.
no matter how cheap, they are delicious!
This little bistro near the busstation makes a good Cevapcici. The place is really nothing special, but if you have an hour or so waiting for a bus from the kolodvor you can easily go here and get a bit to eat and drink in a more relaxed atmosphere than at the busstation.

Cevapcici
There is lot of McDonald's restaurant in Zagreb. Some of them are "drive-in". The most conviniont one is situated in Ban Jelacic Square. But, my suggestion is to avoid it. Try some meal of the excellent Croatian food.
Favorite Dish:
You know what you will get there.
Fresh cat meat served with optional smell coupons. If you go to a big supermarket like 'Nama' , please proceed to the deli counter, give that nice lady your smell coupon from MackaPrdil. She'll bring in a live cat. Please put your nose to the cat's rear end. The nice lady will then gently squeeze that little fur beast until it farts in your face.
This is just a great idea for business cooperation and joint venturing.
Favorite Dish:
In addition to the tasty, grilled cat meat, those smell coupons are just about the greatest idea since man walked on the moon. Man, oh man. Of course the odour depends on what the cat had for lunch. If he had some creamy wholefat milk, you're in for a real treat.
Having dinner at a luxurious fast food street kiosk, and getting a tasty dessert snack at the supermarket. Original, I'd say!
Mickey D's is where I eat every time I am in Zagreb. It is not that I don't like Croatian food, I do. It is just that Croatian and Bosnian are very similar and after 90 days I want an American burger. McDonald's is what I crave after being in Bosnia that long.
Favorite Dish:
All McDonald's taste alike and that is what makes me seek them out. I know what I will get whether it is here or in California.
Gotta go for two cheeseburgers (the little ones) fries and a vanilla shake.
for all of you out there who like McDonalds restaurants- no fear, even Zagreb is (in my opinion, unnecessary, but who asks me, right?) very well 'equipped' with a decent number of these places. Universal hamburger lovers- in this aspect you won't miss home! :))
hmmmmm....
I'd rather shut up right here.
Favorite Dish:
well, you all know what McDonalds serves, so not many words are really needed here... ;)
The restaurant is a really small one on the street running from JELLACIC TRG to the right. Don't be tempted to stop at McDonald's, go further some 200ms.
Small, but friendly athmosphere, four tables or so, several kinds of set meal (seafood only), but if you just drop by for a quick bite, it's the best place to go to.
Favorite Dish:
Deep fried calimera (kind of octupus) with potato salad and local beer. Yam-yam!
