Pleso International Airport is located 17km out of town. Unlike all other major points of entry into the city, the airport has no chapel or left luggage facilities. The small size makes the airport easily negotiable; both domestic and international arrival and departure areas are located on the ground floor.

The easiest way of getting to Zagreb is by plane I guess, but of course you can also come by train, bus or car.
Arriving at Zagreb airport you should try to get to get a bus into town - taking a taxi would be pretty expensive!
If you come by bus you can take the tram No. 2 (direction: Crnomerec) to get to the train station ('Glavni kolodvor') and the centre of town.
IN Zagreb you can get anywhere with trams - they take a lot of time, but the tickets are cheap (available at every newspaper-stand or ticket-stand - but tickets are never checked anyway...). Between 2 and 4 in the morning the trams go very irregularly and the routes are different.

I loved the cute, colour-coded bins of varying heights neatly lined up in ascending order against the walls.
Recycling actually being encouraged and implemented.

Zagreb Pleso Airport is located 15 km away from south Zagreb in direction of Velika Gorica. It is a small international airport, but connect Zagreb with the main european cities.
