Avoid burned lips - bring chapstick with SPF

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: The sun in Cyprus is burning hot and if you're not careful you'll get burned very bad. Some places are more painful and unpractical, such as your lips and scalp. Make sure you bring (or buy) lip balm/chapstick with SPF/UVA/UVB-protection to avoid swollen, sore, patchy, dried, painful lips.

Expensive alcohol: stock up on the tax-free

Miscellaneous: If you're going to Ayia Napa, you're most likely going because you want fun and sun and lots of partying. A little advice on the way; buy alcohol at the tax-free before you leave. Cyprus is very expensive, the local super markets in Ayia Napa know that the young people will buy alcohol at any price and therefore the prices are crazy (e.g. £2 for a Bacardi Breezer alco-pop) Beer is quite cheap though, so you can get away with reasonable prices on the golden drink, but if you prefer spirits, stock up on the airport!

Some suntan lotion now available in Ayia Nap

Miscellaneous: Ayia Napa has numerous shops and you can get virtually everything you need there - toilettries, food, mineral water, sun tan lotion, the list goes on. If you forget to pack something you'll be able to find it near your hotel.

Don't Forget The Suncream

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: In summer, light clothing is all that you will need. Comfortable, flat footwear is best as the roads and pavements tend to be a little uneven.

Photo Equipment: An underwater disposable camera is a good idea if you decide to go scuba diving. You can get some magnificent photos in the crystal clear waters around the coastline.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: If arriving in summer make sure you bring your swimwear. You will definitely want to go into the water to cool down.

Miscellaneous: Make sure you have a reasonably high factor suncream. You will find that you will need it, especially if you are heading to the beach.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: While going in Summer time dont pack much clothes with you.
Most day you'll only wear your swim suite and shorts, its too hot for anything else.
So all you need is some nice clothes for night but not too fency.
