Knights Pub: Enter The Domain Of The King

by cheekymarieh

A great pub that serves excellent food. Akis, one of the owners, serves up plenty of entertainment!Food is actually of restaurant quality and outclasses some of that produced by the local hotels. That is because they have one of the best chefs in the area who moved from the Dherynia Gardens Restaurant to here.On the cocktail list you have lots to choose from. You can purchase a vast range of beers and spirits. International recognised brands can be found. It is one of the best pub in the area (and I'm not advertising it because I used to work there - because I didn't work here!) and caters for a young crowd. After about 11pm the music is for those who enjoy clubbing in Ayia Napa. The staff are extremely friendly and look after you well. Some of the staff like Mike, George, Stavros, Wayne and Surya have been there for a few years. They are particularly good with the less able bodied...

Nautilus Inn: Lively Nights

by cheekymarieh

The bar has one of the best collections of Belgium beers outside of the country itself. Mike, the owner, tries to provide a wide range of alcoholic beverages. He recruits only the highest quality staff (that's why I worked there!).This is a more relaxing night out without the loud music that you find in many pubs in the area. The pub will appeal more to older couples rather than those who would enjoy a night out clubbing in Ayia Napa. This year the live singer was a Dean Martin soundalike (I have to admit I didn't recognise the songs ... though I am sure my parents would have known them!).If karaoke is your thing, then I can recommend Aussie Tony as being one of the better singers. He will do requests (but be warned ... he doesn't know any Chris Rea!)If you want to drink while you have internet access this is the place for you.

Ayia Napa Square: The Square

by cheekymarieh

The Square has gained a reputation as a gathering place for clubbers who will later head on to spots such as Kool Klub, Car Wash, Spot Club, Pzazz, Grease, Starsky & Hutch to name but a few. Around this area there are numerous pubs all touting for business. In high season it could be pretty crowded but I have to admit that last year things had calmed down a little. You could find a seat in pubs such as The Organ Grinder and sit and people watch most of the night.Thankfully the touts for the club seem to be diminishing due to a change in local policies by the mayor. Fliers don't seem to litter the floor as much now. Less is best!

The Old Wreck Inn

by cheekymarieh

Some of the craziest bar staff around! Tony is the perfect host and caters for football lovers and for those who like to enjoy themselves. They have one of the best ranges of cocktails around with about 200 hundred on the list. Anything goes!
