The best way to see the area is by car as public transport destinations are a little restricted. There are a number of car hire firms in the area though one of the best is Doros Rent-A-Car. They offer a quality sevice at reasonable rates.
There is a very good local bus service which runs from Ayia Napa to Protaras then ParalimniNo matter how far you ride on the route there is a set price of £0.50 Cyp (about $1).Watch out for some of the colourful characters driving! One in particular is a born entertainer... and a good friend of mine.
