The 11th century Byzantine church was built over the remains of an early Christian basilica.
Inside is a rare 6th century mosaic of the Virgin and Child between two angels.
The churchyard itself is well maintained and has a lot of attractive trees and bushes planted in it. In June it makes a lovely sight.
As photos are not allowed to be taken inside, I took the plants instead.
