This street has some of the most fashionable boutiques selling famous designer labels.
What to buy: You can find men's and women's apparel and accessories from designers like Roberto Cavalli, Kenzo, and Valentinoa. Also DKNY, Dolce & Cabbana, and Cavalli Class.
What to pay: The price you will pay for these products is much cheaper than buying in other European countries. Be sure to check on several shops in this area and buy the one that you really believe has the best price.
I recommend that you ask for a better price, but don't get the idea of bargaining like in Turkey or an Arab country! If the owner feels that he can afford to offer a better price, he will. Ask politely and you never know.

Come here if you want to buy your leather goods.
It has branches in both Nicosia, Limasol and Paphos.
I knew of its existance, but this time I had to come here because my suitcase was broken so I went to the complaints department in the airport in Larnaca to ask for a refund or change of my luggage. I was told to go to this shop and have my suitcase changed.
What to buy: It has a variety of hand-made leather goods, and it specializes in luggage and travel accessories like handbags, wallets, briefcases, desk sets and organisers.
The shop has a great variety of suitcases not only from its own factory but they have brands like Samsonite, Lacoste, Camel active, Timberland, Gillian and many more.
What to pay: Cypriot made leather goods are of fine quality, so you can buy a new piece from here and get a guarantee statement as well.

This is not the sort of place you will stumble upon by accident, you will really have to seek it out as it is in a suburb of Larnaca, you will need to either drive or get a taxi.
We were taken there by local friends looking for a gift for a special occasion, which we duly found. now there are plenty of good jewellers in central Larnaca, but this place is also the workshop and will take commissions for special pieces. As you are cutting out the middleman it is also cheaper than the places in town. They also undertake repairs and alterations.
If you are looking for something special this may be the place for you.
What to buy: Jewellery from the large selection - or commission your own piece.
What to pay: Cheaper than the retail places in town.

This place looks pretty unprepossessing from the outside but inside it is a veritable Aladdin's cave.
As the name suggests, it is predominantly concerned with nuts, and I have never seen such a selection in my life. They also sell Cypriot sweets (particularly the popular Yerouskipou delights).
As well as that there is a large selection of very competitively priced spices. I always stock up on saffron at a fraction of the price I'd pay in the UK.
There is an extensive selection of local and imported wines, spirits and beers and for smokers I find the prices of cartons of cigarettes here the best in town, with all local and imported brands.
I always make a point of stocking up here the day before I go home.
What to buy: Nuts, sweets, drink, cigarettes, spices.
What to pay: It is cheaper than anywhere else I know in town.

Readers of my tips will know that I'd probably rather try and wrestle a grizzly bear than go shopping, but, whilst walking through Larnaca with mrs_p one day I was dragged into this shop in the search for a gift for a friend. Although I'm no expert, the collection seemed impressive, with some very unusual items.
I came away with a very lovely enamelled bracelet charm of a guitar, which I actually wear on a hoop as an earring.
I know that cypriots love jewellery and there are some good shops around (I've been dragged into enough of them!) but this one seems particularly good.
What to buy: Anything from the extensive collection.
What to pay: Prices are about average for the country.
